PEGGY EDWARDS JONES, artist432 Beaten Path Road Peggy has painted in the medium of water-color since 1996, upon which time she retired from a long career in Human Resources with Kemper Insurance in Charlotte, NC. She has studied under inspiring and talented teachers including Carol Ann Whitmore-Herring, Charlottte Laxton, Sterling Edwards, Chuck McLachlan, Noyes Capehart Long, Tony Couch and Tom Lynch. Exhibits of her work have been in Galleries in Giverny, France, Statesville, NC, Mooresville, NC, Troutman, NC and Asheville, NC. Her favorite subjects have involved landscapes. Trees, lakes, ocean and skies reflect Peggy=s close relationship with God. She serves on the Board of Mooresville Artist=s Guild as Secretary. Peggy paints every Tuesday with the Daveste Artists in Troutman at the Vineyard. |
