Lynn Padgett enjoys drawing from nature – particularly leaves, bones, shells, and landscapes—as well as architectural subjects. She has studied with Luanna Winner at Sertoma Arts Center in Wake County and with botanical illustrator Redenta Soprano at the Campbell Folk School.

In addition to her drawing and painting, Lynn has done graphic design and typography for award-winning books and other publications. She also designs and constructs exhibits, and her work can be seen in the Heritage and History exhibits at the Rutherfordton Town Hall and the Rutherford County Annex Office Building.
