Natasha Hays is a pediatrician who has enjoys various creative outlets outside of medicine, including craft.

She has always been inspired by nature and literature and her recent work in mosaic and woodburning / painting exemplifies that inspiration.

The desire to work in mosaic began on returning from a trip to Florence, Italy several years ago. Natasha uses tile, stained glass, beads, paua shell, and other natural materials in her mosaics.

The painted, woodburned furniture she does usually include some of her favorite quotes appropriate to the theme subject.
