I make high-fired stoneware pottery. I got the clay bug in high school in 1969 and have had it ever since. Ten years later I went through the clay program at Haywood Community College in Haywood County and have been a fulltime potter since 1990. Peggy and I settled in Rutherford County in 2003 and built a large woodturning kiln we fire several times each yer.
