LIBRARY SHOW AT NORRIS LIBRARY

Rutherford County Visual Artists Guild, Norris Public Library of Rutherfordton and Isothermal Continuing Education painting program are featuring paintings by Richard Morgan during the months of August and September.

Richard is one of our multi-talented seniors that live in our community. He has many talents and interests. Along with being an accomplished musician with the Rutherford County Symphony, he is well traveled, a teacher and served in the Navy during WW2. All of these experience, Richard has tried to express in his paintings with the help of his teachers.

His favorite subject matter has been the 1776 Big ships, battle ships and performing musician. Richard is an amateur painter who paints for enjoyment in these later years.

Come to his reception at the library August 5, Tuesday from 2-4 at the Norris Public Library on Main Street in Rutherfordton. Enjoy listening to his life experiences and the story behind each painting.
