SHIRLEY SMITH TASCHENBERG

Shirley Taschenberg graduated from SUNY at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music and Art Education, later returned for advanced work in oil painting. Opened her studio in Fredonia where she taught oil painting for 25 years, at the same time teaching in public and private schools and SUNY. After moving to Jacksonville Fl. she volunteered as a docent for 14 years at the Jacksonville Museum of Art and the Koger Musem of Asian Art, and Girls Inc.for 8 years. She has attended many workshops in both the U.S. and England. At present teaching oil painting classes at Isothermal Community College.
