LINDA McGREGORgotsch@bellsouth.net, (828) 657-1871 Linda, a resident of Forest City, North Carolina, received her BFA degree from the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. She is an active member of Rutherford County Visual Artist Guild. Linda relocated to the northeast where the mountains and coastal towns of New England, inspired many on site paintings. Her enthusiasm and passion for impressionistic style and on site painting were instilled by her professors and other artists. Linda’s favorite medium is watercolor. Over the years she has developed a working interest for monotype, collage, oil, and pen and ink. Mixing these mediums has been an exciting adventure for her. Landscapes and seascapes are her favorite subjects. She also accepts house portrait commissions. Linda has been a graphic designer for advertising firms in Atlanta, Georgia, New York City, New York, and Long Island, New York. She has retired as a supervisor of an after school program sponsored by the Three Village School District, Setauket, New York. North Carolina artist has work on view in Long Island galleries, museums. and in private collections. In the future look for Linda’s works being on displayed in local galleries around Western North Carolina….
